Song of the Week: The Horizontal Twist

Kay Martin and Her Body Guards
The Horizontal Twist
Yes, it’s time for my yearly concession to Christmas. May this er, sleazy little number by Kay Martin (who is apparently not featured on the cover of the album from which the track is from) put a festive spring in your stride. And if that’s not enough, you can just re-listen to last year’s selection.
Merry Christmas everyone and see you on the other side.

Sweet and spicy as mulled cider! Sounds like he might have left her with more than a bit of tinsel to remember him by. There’s a message in that for all us girls.
Have a great Winter Thing, Cocktails. Enjoy the sheet ice!

yes, as you say, a sleazy little number isn’t it??!! Never heard that before ever. The production isn’t particularly Christmasy is it??!! But it’s a cute little song none the less, thanks for that!
Merry Christmas Cocktails!

Thanks ISBW, I need all the positive thoughts I can get. I have to go to Scotland in this!!
The production isn’t very Christmassy, Piley?! And it is on that ubiquitous Slade song and Last bloody Christmas??!!!! Actually, I think I like it for that reason and because it is quite saucy for 1962.
