Disco on your desk

Do you ever get tired of blogging? I don’t mean the actual writing, but having to use the same old dreary standard keyboard all the time?
Well, I have the solution for you. It’s the Luxeed Rainbow Computer Keyboard.
This keyboard, with its 430 LEDs, will put the pep back into your blogging. The illuminated keyboard changes colour with each keystroke – a bit like the dancefloor in Saturday Night Fever. It can also do some ‘amazing’ tricks, like flashing a mini animated rainbow across the keys as you write. Giving yourself a headache has never been so much fun.
This little beauty will only set you back around £100 so you’ll be devastated to know that it’s not yet available outside of Korea.
NB: Works best when blogging in the dark. May not be suitable for office use.

Piley, I seem to have the problems on the ‘other side’ with those light bulbs. They switch off alright, but just take ages to get going so you’re walking around in dim light for a bit. But hey, that’s perfect for this keyboard.
BLTP, I think that Mondo definitely needs one of these.

Ohhhh man, that would freak me out, it would be like having an LSD flash back or some thing. I reckon my kids would dig it though, scarey !.

I’m with BL – and yes you’ve got the measure of me Cocktails – A Daft Punk style keyboard is entirely up my street. If only it was available over here..
Have I ever mentioned my Kaoss Pad which is almost a musical version of this electrickery – Eno’s a huge fan of them – PS not me in the vid

I’m with Carl and F-C on this one!
You’ve got a Kaos Pad, PM? The wizzy sampler? Where do you keep all of this stuff?!

I’ve got a ton of recording gear synths and stuff are hidden in the front room..
Kaoss Pad and 8 track recorder, cables etc are under the stairs
The two faves are the Microkorg a fab synth and similar in style to the Keyboard disco

And the Roland SH 32 which looks like it’s fallen from Skylab

Oh, and then there’s 15 guitars scattered around the house – take a trip to my Myspace page and you’ll see the selected highlights..(and two of my own tunes – although these are more guitar based)

I LOVE the look and sound of that Roland – it really is the sound of another era.

They’re not quite as old as they look – and came out in 2001 (how appropriate) – but can do anything from Goldfrapp to Donna Summer to Human League. Perhaps I should set up a new myspace site Giorgio Mondo

Mondo, 2001? I feel cheated.
Keith and Ally, I feel like I’m 34 going on 80 now. This product just bought out the ‘ooh, I’ve got a headache coming on now’ feeling in me, but you all seem to like it. Well, I never…
