Very cool. Definitely puts me in the right mood. I wish I could head to the beach. I'm ready for warmer weather. It's been so cold, windy & rainy here this week. I need a pick me up.

You'll love The Wailers

Here's 'Wailin' by them
http://www.divshare.com/download/5015021-73b

Out of all my guitars (about 15 or 16) the Dano's are easily the best value pound for pound - and look at this list of players they've got some real pedigree - Beck, Jimmy Page, Syd Barret

I haven't heard of them PM, but will have a listen.

And as for the Danelectros I'm truly impressed by the range of colours available. When I meet the devil at the crossroads and obtain some semblance of musical talent I may well buy one.

I'll have a nosey round for that album - have you checked out The Fabulous Wailers..for much more of the same..Wailing is a belter
http://mod64.blogspot.com/2007/04/fabulous-wailers.html

It's dead easy to get the same sound just pay around £150 for on of these
The offset ones at the bottom are best (I've got one in peach)

That's some response! I do like your turn of phrase.

I found this on an Ace compilation The Birth of Surf.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Birth-Surf-Various-Artists/dp/B000PATZQ0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1231408308&sr=8-1

The rest of the CD is more conventionally surfy, like the Ventures, Dick Dale etc., but has some top sounds.

And don't you think that any right thinking indie guitar band would kill of a guitar sound like Link Wrays?
