Song of the Week: Beatnik’s Wish
Patsy Raye & the Beatniks
Beatnik’s Wish
This top tune is my one concession to Christmas this year. With those sultry vocals revealing a crazy beatnik Christmas wish that certainly won’t fit into any nylon stockings, daddy-o, you shouldn’t need anything else for the season.
But if you do, I recommend checking out these choice selections over at Carnival Saloon, Planet Mondo and The Dino Lounge if you haven’t already.
Merry Christmas folks.

It’s a top tune isn’t it?!
And credit where credit is due, you can thank Bob Dyan for tracking it down. He played it on his Theme Time Radio Hour programme and you can find it here:

It is a fab show and a great compilation, although sadly lacking Bob’s ‘humour’.
