Music generation gap
A couple of members of my tai chi class were milling around waiting for class to begin the other day. For once we didn’t lament our lack of practice during the past week but instead discussed our day jobs:
‘So how long have you been working in the maritime industry?’ an older classmate asked another woman of about my age.
She looked perplexed. She works for an accountancy firm in the City.
Then it suddenly dawned on both of us where this misunderstanding had come from.
She was wearing a British Sea Power t-shirt.

I don’t really know much about British Sea Power. I do know that they have good t-shirts though. This was a Poultry in Motion one.

I’ve got both ‘Heron Addict’ AND ‘Along Your Fusilage’ BSP T-shirts, and am very proud to wear them, although they do get me the odd funny look at the gym.
That’s a fab story, Cocktails.

Actually, now I come to think of it, I hope that the misled student wasn’t thinking that the company slogan was Poultry in Motion…
